Here is a list of Green Energy Projects Underway:
- Wind & Solar in Ontario sponsored by Trudeau with Liberals McGinty and Wynne at a cost of $9.2Billion with on-going costs
- Carbon Tax - This tax takes $6,500,000,000 out of the economy each year
- Bill - C69 which will impose onerous consultative and other burdens that will severely hobble all energy projects in Alberta for the foreseeable future.
- Bill – C48 which legally enforces a Moratorium on Oil Tankers in northern B.C In other words the Development of Fossil Fuels in Alberta has been stopped.
- The Feds Declare a ClIMATE EMERGENCY, calling for the Elimination of all Single Use Plastics. This will cause all kinds of repercussions from spoiled food to creating even more problematic storage materials. Incineration solves the problem and creates Electricity.
- Restriction of Pipelines both East & West to limit the future of the Fossil Fuel Industry. Ottawa has vetoed, three new export pipelines: Northern Gateway, Energy East and Coastal GasLink, and others, such the Trans Mountain expansion.
- Ottawa's $320 million in New Subsidies for Newfoundland offshore Not Enough for Husky to restart $1.2-billion offshore oil project called West White Rose. This is more of a Stop Gap Measure, to keep Newfoundland Quiet, rather than possibly developing their resources.
- Clean Fuel Standard, a Second Carbon Tax to be implemented soon will take another $15-$20 Billion out of the economy.
- Government Investment of $590 million in Electric Vehicle Production at Ford Motor in Oakville, when Ford have already produced over 800,000 Electric Vehicles in other countries. Why are we doing this when Tesla started from the ground up, with Private Capital? This is buying votes or loyalty!! What about GM, Honda, and Toyota? With long driving distances, and the Cold Climate in Canada does this make sense? How fast will consumers adopt Electric Vehicles?
- Green Energy in Buildings, Home Retrofits, are another subsidy, which would normally require a Cost/Benefit Analysis. A Canada Green Business Council, and Certification Program has been in place for over 20 years, based on Economics. This New Program is Redundant.
In Addition, the Planned TOTAL INVESTMENT on Green New Energy Projects, OVER FIVE YEARS will be $55.4 Billion
This will come from Borrowed Money while having a Current Deficit of more than $343 Billion and a Debt of over $1.2 Trillion!
Does it look like Wind and Solar will be Effective any Time Soon as a True Source of energy for the world? Thus, there is lots of room to Market Canadians Fossil Fuel Resources, for the World’s Benefit without shutting them in. See chart!
Trudeau has created a “Task Force for Resilient Recovery” made up of a hand- Picked Force that is a Grab-Bag of Professional Liberals, Green Activists, Former Civil Servants and Self- Described Social Entrepreneurs whose Business Models are all about Getting Grants and Subsidies. Not a Single Business Person was included on the list of task force.
If this goes ahead as planned, the Separatist Movement in Alberta and Saskatchewan will grow, and could spread to all the western provinces. The purpose of the federal government is to preserve and strengthen the country; it is playing with dynamite with a carelessness for which there is no precedent in the history of Canada.
The Consequences will be Higher Taxes, a Lower Dollar, Less Disposable Income, maybe Higher Inflation, Lower Purchasing Power, (more printed money), Less Freedom of Movement, more Civil Disobedience, Less Security, Higher Unemployment, Fewer Choices, and a Lower Standard of Living.
Growth from Profits is the only way to expand Canada’s Wealth, not through Government Control and Regulation, paid for by Taxes, leading to less Prosperity.
We don’t need a Venezuela type Socialist Programs, whereby in a few short years an oil rich nation, has been forced to purchase oil from Iran, and has an Inflation Rate of over 2000%. By shutting in Alberta Oil, that is where we are headed.
Worse it has been Justified by on what is supposed to Man-Made Climate Change, when Canada produces less than 0.4% of all Green House Gases, CO2 is less than 400 ppm, and Canada has Carbon Absorbing Trees, Marshes and Farmland to Offset any Carbon Increase.
Trudeau, By Enacting these Programs based on Unsupported Man - Made Climate Change Dogma has Created an act of Pure Evil, on Canada.
Remember when many Scientists said we were Going to Run Out of Fossil Fuel in the ‘70’s, same Stupidity!!
